Operation Kindness: Tornado Reliefe Toy Giveaway

At the end of 2015 storms came through the state of Texas and leveled homes all over the state leaving some families with no where to turn, and taking the life of over 10 people. The devastation was broadcasted nation wide and brought many organizations together to make a difference. 

The Guns & Hoses Foundation of North Texas partnered up with the good folks of Lakewood Brewing Co. to get members of the community to donate new and gently used toys and the response was over whelming. Hundreds of people poured into the Lakewood Tap Room dropping off all sorts of toys and house hold items for those in need. Walmart heard about the toy drive and contributed a truck full of brand new toys for both boys and girls. 

On Friday, January 22 from 2pm-6pm and Saturday, January 23 from 9am-2pm the Guns and Hoses Foundation of North Texas will be handing out toys to families who come in with proper ID proving their residents for free of charge at the Garland Police Boxing Gym located at 101 S.
